Service Providers Terms & Conditions

1. Listing Requirements

1.1 Equipment owners must provide accurate and comprehensive information about each piece of machinery, including specifications, conditions, availability, and pricing.

 1.2 All listed equipment must comply with local laws, regulations, and safety standards.

 1.3 Equipment owners must specify the rental terms (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or annually) and the rate of payment per service if booked for a specific service.

 1.4 Equipment owners are responsible for ensuring their listings remain current and accurate at all times.

2. Booking and Reservation

2.1 Users may book or rent machinery through the Linkbridge platform based on the availability indicated by the equipment owner.

 2.2 Equipment owners agree to promptly confirm or reject booking requests received through the platform.

 2.3 Once the equipment owner confirms a booking, it is considered binding.

3. Commission and Payment

3.1 Linkbridge charges a 7% commission on the total booking or rental amount for each successful transaction.

3.2 Payments from users are processed through Linkbridge’s platform, with the commission deducted before remitting the balance to the equipment owner.

3.3 Equipment owners agree to the payment terms and conditions set forth by Linkbridge.

4. Liability and Insurance

4.1 Equipment owners must maintain adequate insurance coverage( where applicable) for their machinery listed on the platform.

 4.2 Linkbridge is not liable for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from using the listed machinery. Equipment owners indemnify Linkbridge from any claims related to such incidents. 4.3 Equipment owners are responsible for any damage caused by or to their equipment during the rental period.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

 5.1 Equipment owners must adhere to the uniform cancellation and refund policy set by Linkbridge to ensure consistency and fairness for all users.

 5.2 Cancellation by Users:

5.2.1 Users may cancel their booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled rental time without any penalty, and a full refund will be issued.

5.2.2 Cancellations made between 48 hours and 24 hours before the scheduled rental time will incur a 50% cancellation fee, and the remaining 50% will be refunded to the user.

 5.2.3 Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled rental time will incur a 100% cancellation fee, and no refund will be issued.

5.3 Cancellation by Equipment Owners:

 5.3.1 Equipment owners must notify users and Linkbridge immediately if they need to cancel a confirmed booking due to unforeseen circumstances.

 5.3.2 If an equipment owner cancels a booking, the user will receive a full refund, and the equipment owner may incur penalties or suspension of listing privileges for repeated cancellations.

5.4 Refund Processing:

5.4.1 Refunds will be processed through Linkbridge’s payment system and will be issued to the original payment method used by the user.

 5.4.2 Refunds may take up to 7 business days to process, depending on the user’s bank or payment provider.

5.5 Dispute Resolution:

5.5.1 In the event of a dispute regarding cancellations or refunds, Linkbridge reserves the right to mediate and make a final decision based on the circumstances.

5.5.2 Equipment owners agree to abide by Linkbridge’s decision in such disputes.

6. Customer Service and Support

 6.1 Equipment owners agree to provide timely and effective customer support to users regarding their bookings and equipment inquiries.

6.2 Linkbridge may facilitate communication between users and equipment owners to resolve issues or disputes as necessary.

7. Platform Usage and Conduct

7.1 Equipment owners must adhere to Linkbridge’s terms of use and community guidelines.

 7.2 Any misuse of the platform, including fraudulent activities or misrepresentation of equipment, may result in suspension or termination of listing privileges.

7.3 Equipment owners are prohibited from conducting transactions outside of the Linkbridge platform for equipment listed on the platform.

8. Term and Termination

 8.1 The agreement between Linkbridge and equipment owners is ongoing unless terminated by either party with a 30-day notice period.

8.2 Linkbridge reserves the right to remove or suspend listings that do not comply with the terms outlined herein or are deemed inappropriate for the platform.

 8.3 Equipment owners may terminate their agreement with Linkbridge by providing written notice and ensuring all outstanding bookings are honored.

9. Updates and Amendments

9.1 Linkbridge may update these terms and policies periodically. Equipment owners will be notified of any changes.

 9.2 Continued use of the platform after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Confidentiality and Data Protection

10.1 Equipment owners agree to keep all user information confidential and use it solely for the purpose of fulfilling bookings and rentals.

 10.2 Equipment owners must comply with all applicable data protection laws and regulations.

10.3 Linkbridge will protect and manage data by its privacy policy, ensuring the security of all personal information processed through the platform.

11. Rental Policy

 11.1 Confirmation of Equipment Condition:

11.1.1 Equipment owners must confirm and document the fitness and health of the equipment before renting it to users.

 11.1.2 Any pre-existing conditions or limitations of the equipment must be clearly communicated to the user.

11.2 Use of Equipment:

11.2.1 Equipment owners must provide detailed instructions on the proper use and safety guidelines for the equipment.

 11.3 Down Payment:

11.3.1 A first down payment, as specified in the rental agreement, must be made by the user upon delivery of the equipment.

 11.3.2 The down payment will be applied towards the total rental cost.

11.4 Return of Equipment:

 11.4.1 Users are required to return the equipment in the same condition as it was received, accounting for normal wear and tear.

 11.4.2 Equipment owners must inspect the equipment upon return and report any damages or issues.

 11.5 Loss of Equipment:

11.5.1 In the event of loss or theft of the rented equipment, users must immediately notify the equipment owner and Linkbridge.

11.5.2 Users may be held financially responsible for the replacement value of the lost equipment.

By listing their equipment on Linkbridge’s platform, equipment owners acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms, conditions, and policies. These clauses ensure a transparent, fair, and efficient marketplace for all parties involved in the rental and booking of construction and agricultural machinery.
