1. Account Registration
1.1 Users must register for an account on the Linkbridge platform to book or rent equipment.
1.2 Users agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during the registration process.
1.3 Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information
and password.
2. Booking and Reservation
2.1 Users may browse and book available equipment listed on the Linkbridge platform.
2.2 Users must provide accurate details regarding their rental needs, including rental dates and any additional service requirements.
2.3 Once the equipment owner confirms a booking, it is considered binding.
3. Payment and Fees
3.1 Users agree to pay the total rental amount as specified in the booking confirmation.
3.2 Payments are processed through the
Linkbridge platform using the user’s selected payment method.
3.3 Any additional fees, such as service charges or taxes, will be indicated during the booking process.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
4.1 Users may cancel their booking under the following conditions:
4.1.1 Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the scheduled rental time will receive a full refund.
4.1.2 Cancellations made between 48 hours and 24 hours before the scheduled rental time will incur
a 50% cancellation fee, with the remaining 50% refunded.
4.1.3 Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled rental time will incur a 100% cancellation fee, and no refund will be issued.
4.2 Refund Processing:
4.2.1 Refunds will be processed through Linkbridge’s payment system and issued to the original payment method used by the user.
4.2.2 Refunds may take up to 7 business days to process, depending on the user’s bank or payment
provider.
4.3 Cancellation by Equipment Owners: 4.3.1 If an equipment owner cancels a booking,
the user will receive a full refund.
4.3.2 Repeated cancellations by equipment owners may result in penalties or suspension of their listing privileges.
5. Use of Equipment
5.1 Users agree to use the rented equipment responsibly and lawfully.
5.2 Users must adhere to all instructions and safety guidelines provided by the equipment owner.
5.3 Users are responsible for any damage or loss to the equipment during the rental period.
6. Liability and Insurance
6.1 Users are advised to verify that the equipment they rent is covered by adequate insurance as provided by the equipment owner.
6.2 Linkbridge is not liable for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from the use of rented equipment.
6.3 Users indemnify Linkbridge from any claims related to incidents involving rented equipment.
7. Customer Service and Support
7.1 Users may contact Linkbridge customer support for assistance with their bookings or equipment inquiries.
7.2 Linkbridge will facilitate communication between users and equipment owners to resolve any issues or disputes.
8. Platform Usage and Conduct
8.1 Users must adhere to Linkbridge’s terms of use and community guidelines.
8.2 Any misuse of the platform, including fraudulent activities or providing false information, may result in suspension or termination of the user’s account.
8.3 Users are prohibited from conducting transactions outside of the Linkbridge platform for equipment listed on the platform.
9. Term and Termination
9.1 This agreement between Linkbridge and users is ongoing unless terminated by either party.
9.2 Linkbridge reserves the right to suspend or terminate a user’s account for any violations of these
terms and conditions.
9.3 Users may terminate their account by providing written notice to Linkbridge and ensuring all outstanding bookings are honored.
10. Updates and Amendments
10.1 Linkbridge may update these terms and policies periodically. Users will be notified of any changes.
10.2 Continued use of the platform after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the
updated terms.
11. Confidentiality and Data Protection
11.1 Users agree to keep all information provided by equipment owners confidential and use it
solely for fulfilling bookings and rentals.
11.2 Users must comply with all applicable data protection laws and regulations.
11.3 Linkbridge will protect and manage data per its privacy policy, ensuring the security of all personal information processed through the platform.
12. Rental Policy
12.1 Confirmation of Equipment Condition:
12.1.1 Users are required to inspect and confirm the fitness and health of the equipment upon delivery or before commencing use.
12.1.2 Any discrepancies or issues must be reported to the equipment owner and Linkbridge immediately.
12.2 Use of Equipment:
12.2.1 Users must follow all operational guidelines and safety instructions provided by the
equipment owner.
12.2.2 Users are responsible for the proper use and maintenance of the equipment during the rental period.
12.3 Down Payment:
12.3.1 A first down payment of [10% of the equipment to be rented ] is required
upon delivery of the equipment at the user’s location.
12.3.2 The down payment will be applied towards the total rental cost.
12.4 Return of Equipment:
12.4.1 Users must return the equipment in the same condition as it was delivered, considering
normal wear and tear.
12.4.2 Any damage or malfunction must be reported, and users may be liable for repair costs.
12.5 Loss of Equipment:
12.5.1 In the event of loss or theft of the rented equipment, users must immediately notify the
equipment owner and Linkbridge.
12.5.2 Users may be held financially responsible for the replacement value of the lost equipment.By using the Linkbridge platform, users acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms,
conditions, and policies. These clauses ensure a transparent, fair, and
efficient marketplace for all parties involved in the rental and booking of
construction and agricultural machinery.
